Verum.AI is a platform designed to empower informed democracy by leveraging advanced AI to cut through bias, inconsistency, and misinformation in political messages. Our chatbot aids users in examining political speeches and texts, providing comprehensive bias assessments using GPT-3.5 Turbo.

This project, a collaborative effort between designers and developers from UC Davis and UC San Diego, aims to enhance voter trust and knowledge by making political content analysis accessible and insightful. Despite technical challenges, we created a robust system capable of analyzing both text and web content, ultimately promoting a more transparent and engaged democratic process.
